Mark Kaplan is a seasoned financial services executive and legal strategist with over three decades of experience leading global operations, legal teams, and risk functions across top-tier financial institutions. Most recently, he served as Global Chief Operating Officer at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he oversaw the firm’s strategic and operational infrastructure on a global scale.
Prior to Cantor, Mark held senior leadership roles at Societe Generale, including Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for the Americas. His career also includes leadership positions at CIBC World Markets, Oppenheimer & Co., and Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. He is highly regarded for his expertise in enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and M&A strategy.
